OUR HISTORY
In the spring of 1998, a group of like-minded citizens came together with the purpose of improving the lives of animals in our county. By combining our talents and resources we realized we could have a larger impact on many issues that we cared about, including the operation of the animal shelter, the importance of spay/neuter to control animal overpopulation, and the importance of pet identification. We were incorporated in 2002 and received our IRS Not for Profit status.

Since organization, we have provided, pet food, cat litter,
disposable litter boxes, boots, overalls, and the installation of a
ventilation fan for the shelter. We have also
spent hours cleaning, painting, and acting as volunteer staff.
Most recently we provided a $2,000 a year medical fund for
the shelter and all the Science Diet Food for the shelter for 2
years. We have worked thru 6+ different
animal control regimes.
We initiated a spay/neuter program and a donation only pet tag
program.
